A Hike through Wadi Shab: Exploring Pools, Caves, and Mouthwatering Scenery

I've had several Oman adventure experiences, but I wasn't prepared to witness every magic within the Wadi Shab. I woke up earlier than usual because I couldn't afford to miss my ticket for the wadi shab and bimmah sinkhole tour. But then, I didn't know that the beauty of the tour would hit so hard and fast. Initially, everything was quiet as we drove, but everything turned out to be an unmatched experience as we moved through soft mountains. The real tour began as we went past the small boat towards the trailhead. Even though the path that led to our destination appeared easy to maneuver, we came across rocky trails as we proceeded with our journey. The place appeared as if no one had ever explored it. Our guide had great experience with muscat trips and kept on showing us every detail we came across, like fresh water pouring from cliffs and fig trees growing on rocky places. The most surprising experience was how satisfying the pools were. The first one looks good but as we moved to the next ones, the water became colder and clearer. As we moved deeper, the water appeared unreal. When it was time to go through a narrow cave, I felt a bit scared as I feared walking inside caves. But I was equally excited as I wasn't alone. Within the cave, we witnessed a massive waterfall rumbling below the surface, this made everyone quiet for a moment. These were the best freshwater pools I’ve ever found. As we went back, it was already sunset and every detail glittered like gold. Our tour came to an end at the open crater where we stood high above the crater and had an amazing view of the flat land below. If you love natural swimming spots, Omani Landscapes, and more adventures, you should consider this trip to be at the top of your list. Having toured it myself, I just came to understand that Wadi Shab isn't just a hike, but a full package of scenery, cool water and surprises that keeps you longing to visit again
